Am 18. Juni fand in Gramatneusiedl (Nieder\u00f6sterreich) ein bemerkenswertes Ereignis statt, das den Geist der Gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigkeit und der Gemeinschaft demonstrierte. W\u00e4hrend der Fahrradtour, die von der Stadt Gramatneusiedl organisiert wurde, durfte unser Verein \"Lasst uns MDS heilen\" den Erfrischungsstand betreiben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susanne und Gerald, esteemed board members, standen im Mittelpunkt dieser Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sie organisierten und leiteten die Wiederauff\u00fcllungsbox, in der Getr\u00e4nke und Lebensmittel f\u00fcr eine freiwillige Spende zur Verf\u00fcgung standen. Jede einzelne Spende, die w\u00e4hrend der Veranstaltung gemacht wurde, war f\u00fcr die Unterst\u00fctzung der Initiativen des Vereins bestimmt. Der Stand, der vor Aktivit\u00e4t summte, wurde von \u00fcber hundert Besuchern aufgesucht, die ihre Solidarit\u00e4t und Unterst\u00fctzung zeigten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matteo, ein tapferer F\u00fcnfj\u00e4hriger, und Philipp, ein resilienter 25-J\u00e4hriger, die beide mit dem MECP2-Genduplikationssyndrom leben, waren anwesend. Ihre inspirierende Pr\u00e4senz warf ein Licht auf die Herausforderungen, denen sich Menschen mit dieser seltenen Erkrankung gegen\u00fcbersehen, und verst\u00e4rkte die Bedeutung der Mission der Veranstaltung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The success of this event was further magnified by the invaluable help of friends and supporters, who volunteered in organizing and operating the booth while proudly wearing the colors of the association. Die Veranstaltung wurde zu einem wahrhaft unvergesslichen Erfolg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wir m\u00f6chten auch die Firma Stiegl hervorheben, die alle Getr\u00e4nke spendete! Au\u00dferdem wurden k\u00f6stliche Pasteten inkl. Kaffee und leckere Brote zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gerald denkt \u00fcber das Ereignis nach und sagt: \"Ich bin \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigt und unendlich dankbar\" (I am overwhelmed and infinitely grateful). Gerald ist \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigt von den vielen Freiwilligen, die ihre Zeit und Energie zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt haben, dankbar f\u00fcr die lebhafte und angenehme Atmosph\u00e4re, die \u00fcberall herrschte, in Ehrfurcht vor der gro\u00dfen Anzahl von Besuchern, die teilgenommen haben, bewegt von der immensen Bereitschaft, einen Beitrag zu leisten und einen Unterschied zu machen, und erfreut \u00fcber die Neugierde und das Interesse der Besucher, mehr \u00fcber den Zustand zu erfahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susanne teilte ebenfalls ihre Gef\u00fchle und rief aus: \"Was f\u00fcr ein toller Tag. Ich konnte und wollte meine Freudentr\u00e4nen nicht unterdr\u00fccken\" (What a great day. I couldn't and didn't want to hold back my tears of joy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sie dr\u00fcckte ihre herzlichste Wertsch\u00e4tzung f\u00fcr alle aus, die die Veranstaltung zu einem gro\u00dfen Erfolg f\u00fcr ihren Verein gemacht hatten. Thinking back about the event, Susanne says \"F\u00fcr mich war dieser Tag einer der emotionalsten seit Beginn unserer Reise.\" (F\u00fcr mich war dieser Tag einer der emotionalsten seit Beginn unserer Reise).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She confesses \"Es gibt kaum etwas Schlimmeres als Hoffnungslosigkeit und sein Kind leiden zu sehen.\" (There is hardly anything worse than feeling hopeless and seeing your child suffering).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ihre Reise geht mit neuer Hoffnung und Entschlossenheit f\u00fcr ihren Sohn Philipp weiter, da sie wissen, dass sie nicht allein sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susanne schlie\u00dft: \"Danke vielmals an alle, die diesen Tag zu so einem guten Tag f\u00fcr unseren Verein gemacht haben. 1000 Danke\" (Many thanks to all who made this day, such a good day for the association).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dank der gemeinsamen Anstrengungen von Organisatoren, Freiwilligen, Besuchern und unterst\u00fctzenden Sponsoren kamen insgesamt 1500 Euro zusammen, was die unglaubliche Kraft von Einigkeit und Mitgef\u00fchl zeigt, wenn sie auf eine ehrenwerte Sache gerichtet ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
