Der Besuch erm\u00f6glichte einen spannenden Blick in die Zukunft f\u00fcr eine Behandlung des MECP2-Duplikationssyndroms (MDS).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unter der Leitung von Dr. Alvin Luk, CEO von HuidaGene, steht das Unternehmen an der Spitze der Entwicklung einer bahnbrechenden CRISPR-Technologie, die das Leben von Kindern mit MDS revolutionieren k\u00f6nnte. Der Besuch war eine unglaubliche Gelegenheit, sich aus erster Hand von den hochmodernen Einrichtungen und dem kreativen Umfeld zu \u00fcberzeugen, das eine solch innovative Forschung f\u00f6rdert. Die vielversprechenden Daten und vorl\u00e4ufigen Ergebnisse aus Toxizit\u00e4tsstudien an nicht-menschlichen Primaten haben zu einer spannenden Entwicklung gef\u00fchrt. Die klinische MDS-Studie des Unternehmens, deren Beginn urspr\u00fcnglich f\u00fcr die zweite Jahresh\u00e4lfte 2024 geplant war, hat bereits die Genehmigung der Ethikkommissionen von zwei Krankenh\u00e4usern erhalten und soll noch vor Jahresende MDS-Patienten aufnehmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dies ist eine fantastische Nachricht f\u00fcr die MDS-Gemeinschaft. Die bevorstehende klinische HG204-MDS-Studie mit dem Namen \"HERO\" wird zun\u00e4chst mindestens vier Patienten behandeln, die ein Jahr lang engmaschig \u00fcberwacht werden. Die erste Phase dieser Studie wird in China durchgef\u00fchrt. Die weitere Aufnahme von Patienten in China wird von den ersten vorl\u00e4ufigen Ergebnissen der Interventionsstudie abh\u00e4ngen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HuidaGene hat bereits bedeutende Fortschritte bei der beh\u00f6rdlichen Zulassung gemacht und sich zwei FDA-Zulassungen (Rare Pediatric Disease Designation (RPDD) und Orphan Drug Designation (ODD)) f\u00fcr HG204 zur Behandlung von MECP2 Duplikationssyndrom. Sie haben auch Kontakt mit der FDA und der EMA f\u00fcr weitere Studien in den USA und Europa aufgenommen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es war ein Privileg, pers\u00f6nlich mit Alvin und Gloria sprechen zu k\u00f6nnen.
