A special concert for our special children

The final highlight of 2024 for our association took place on 22 December.
This time, the organisers and hosts were Maria and Leo Wittner.
They organised a wonderful and joyous Christmas concert at the Café Wittnerhof in Gramatneusiedl.
Camerata Carnuntum and Ensemble SaxTube, both under the musical direction of Leo Wittner, took to the stage. In the first part of the concert, visitors were treated to an exquisite selection of works by W.A. Mozart.

During the break, our board member, Gerald Molnar, spoke about the mission of our association and presented MECP2 gene duplication syndrome to the audience.

The second part of the concert followed. This part was characterised by joyful and contemplative Christmas music.

The audience was also encouraged to sing along.

At the end of the concert, the Wittner family were able to present Gerald with an urn filled to the brim with €1,260 for our board member.

We are very grateful for the generosity of our visitors, but also for the organisation of the concert by the Wittner family.
