Around 150 cyclists took part.<\/p>\n\n<p>Alongside the fire brigade festival, Gramatneusiedl recently organised a charity cycle ride for a good cause, starting and finishing in the fire station's main square. Many of the cyclists enjoyed the fire brigade's home-made delicacies afterwards.<\/p>\n\n<p>The charity cycle ride was organised by the town of Gramatneusiedl. The association supports children suffering from MECP2 duplication syndrome, a rare and progressive neurological disease from which Philipp Molnar from Gramatneusiedl suffers. His father, Gerald Molnar, head of the association, and a couple of friends, Caroline and David Covini, both involved in research, also have a son named Matteo who suffers from MECP2 duplication syndrome.
