On 25 November 2023, our benefit concert with the band Live & Pur took place, welcoming over 200 guests, including the mayor of Gramatneusiedl, supporters of the association, friends, journalists and volunteers. Attendees were greeted with champagne and sparkling wine, and were able to admire the impressive number of raffle prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening not only showcased the musical talents of Live & Pur, but also provided an opportunity for families affected by the syndrome to get together.
Matteo (5), Lukas (16) and Philipp (26) attended the event. Unfortunately, Jan (3) and Ben (1) were unable to attend, but their families represented them to show their support for the organisation. A slide show before the concert featured other affected children from around the world, collectively representing the heroes of the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At our information stand, guests had the opportunity to find out more about the syndrome and register as members of the association. The sincere generosity of Liebesblick, which sold items bearing the image of our association, added further support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gerald Molnar (board member and co-organiser) and David Covini (president) launched the event with speeches, explaining the symptoms of the syndrome and outlining the association's mission and objectives. Gerald expressed his gratitude to the association's members, sponsors and guests, acknowledging their vital support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The atmosphere in the hall reached its emotional peak during the Live & Pur concert, with Austrian pop music and lighting effects. The audience was enthralled and many took to the dance floor. The event also offered a rich selection of food and drink donated by our sponsors, complemented by an impressive pastry bar provided by volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the interval, an auction was held, including a painting by Rudi Kreppenhofer and a Rapid Wien football shirt with the players' signatures. Guests were remarkably generous, helping to raise a total of \u20ac8,000 at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On leaving the concert hall, the lucky winners were able to collect their raffle prizes, and most of the guests left with an unforgettable memory of this unforgettable evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susanne Molnar, co-organiser, shared her feelings about the event: \"This was one of our most emotional evenings. We worked really hard to organise it. We were both happy and terrified that we wouldn't make it. But it was simply fantastic, magical and unique.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was also an opportunity for Mrs Demuth from Variotherm (Leobersdorf, Austria) to present the Curic family with a donation of \u20ac2,500. This donation, collected by Variotherm employees and management, will co-finance an intensive rehabilitation stay at the Adeli centre (Slovakia) for their 3-year-old son, Jan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can't express our gratitude enough to everyone who took part. Our special thanks go to the organisers, Gerald and Susanne Molnar, and to all the volunteers and supporters who made the event such a success. Our warmest thanks go to the band members Rita, Gerald, Gerhard, Sigi, Adi, Rigo and Kurt, as well as Walter and Wolfgang for lights and sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sincere thank you to our generous sponsors who made the evening a success for the association. The Str\u00f6ck company sponsored the bread, the Radatz company contributed the majority of the sausages and meat products, and Nina treated us to a delicious vegan chili sin carne. Stiegel once again provided beer and Radler, while Rauch supplied soft drinks. Exquisite wines were generously provided by winemakers from Rust, M\u00f6rbisch am See and St. Margarethen in Burgenland. Special thanks also go to the REWE Group, which sponsored generous gift baskets worth \u20ac1,200 for the tombola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
