Support Fund Now Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We know that caring for a child with MECP2 Duplication Syndrome often comes with more than just emotional challenges.<br>It also brings practical and financial burdens \u2014 therapies, equipment, treatments, and support that are not always covered.<br><strong>Today, we are pleased to announce that the DupMECP2 Family Support Fund is now up and running \ud83d\udc9b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This fund was created to offer real, practical help to families who are navigating these challenges every day.<br>Our goal is simple: to ease part of the burden so families can focus on what matters most \u2014 their child.<br>The fund can support costs such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Therapies and medical treatments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Essential medical equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel related to care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Psychological support for families<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This first phase of the program is focused on families living in Europe, as part of our initial pilot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Families in the United States can access a dedicated support program through the MECP2 Duplication Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Families from the rest of the world are warmly invited to register their interest, so we can better understand needs and expand the program globally in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Before applying<\/strong><br>To be eligible, your child must be registered in the REMEDS registry.<br>REMEDS is our global platform that helps improve understanding of MECP2 Duplication Syndrome and accelerate research.<br>By participating, you contribute to a better future for the entire community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to apply<\/strong>?<br>The process is simple and starts with REMEDS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/remeds.org\/\">remeds.org <\/a>and log into your account (or create one)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register your child in the REMEDS registry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the \u201cFamily Support\u201d section and complete the application form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send the required documents (quotes) by email to office@dupmecp2.eu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a
