Als Ben geboren wurde im Juni 2022 schien alles normal zu sein doch nach wenigen Monaten war uns klar, dass Ben sich nicht gewöhnlich Entwickelt. Every time he had an infection, his developmental skills were lost. Er litt an ständigen Pneumonien, Aspirierte, und benötigtet ständig Sauerstoffzufuhr im Krankenhaus sowie Antibiotika. Sein schlechter Gesundheitszustand besorgte uns sehr und bestimmte unser ganzes Leben. Wir verbrachten Monate im Krankenhaus.
The doctors and nurses in Mödling were also very impressed, and gave us a good test. In April 2023, we received the Diganose and it was a big shock, but also an insight into what Ben had. Dann hieß es das Leben neu sortieren, organisieren und so viele Informationen zu verarbeiten.
The contact with other patients, and especially with David and Ana, has given me a great deal of pleasure in finding a way through to the diagnosis. A big thank you for this.
Our son Ben is an ambitious young man who is always on the move. He loves playing games and reading books with his granddaughter. He is very interested in his surroundings, which is a major bonus in therapy. Er kommuniziert sehr klar durch seine Körpersprache und hat einen starken Willen sich weiterzuentwickeln.
He's a small man and an enormous champion. We are truly grateful to him and will do everything we can to support him.
