Koncert charytatywny w Gramatneusiedl

On November 25, 2023, our charity concert with the band « Live & Pur » was held, welcoming over 200 guests, including the mayor of Gramatneusiedl, association supporters, friends, journalists and volunteers. The attendees were greeted with champagne, sparkling wine, and could admire the impressive amount of raffle prizes.

The evening not only showcased the musical talents of Live & Pur but also provided an opportunity for families affected by MDS to come together.
Matteo (5 years old), Lukas (16 years old), and Philipp (26 years old) attended the event.  Unfortunately, Jan (3 years old) and Ben (1 year old) couldn’t attend, but their families stood in for them to show support for the organization. A slideshow before the concert introduced other affected children from around the world, collectively representing the heroes of the evening.

At our information booth, guests had the opportunity to learn about the syndrome and register as members. The heartfelt generosity of Liebsblick, selling our association’s merchandise, added an extra layer of support.

Gerald Molnar (Board member and co-organizer) and David Covini (President) commenced the event with speeches, explaining the syndrome’s symptoms and presenting the mission and goals of the association. Gratitude was extended to association members, sponsors, and guests by Gerald, acknowledging their vital support.

The atmosphere in the room reached its emotional peak during Live & Pur’s concert, featuring Austrian pop music and lighting effects. The audience enthusiastically joined in, with many taking to the dancefloor. The event also offered a rich selection of food and drink donated by our sponsors, complemented by an impressive pastry bar provided by volunteers.

During the break, an auction was held, including a painting by Rudi Kreppenhofer and a Rapid-shirt with the players’ signatures. Guests displayed remarkable generosity, contributing to a total of 8000 euros raised during the event.

While leaving the concert hall, the happy winners could pick up their raffle prizes, and most of the guests took home a special memory of this unforgettable evening.

Susanne Molnar, co-organizer, reflecting on the event, shared: « This evening was one of our most emotional and important evenings. We worked hard to organize it. We were both happy and terrified that we wouldn’t be able to make it. But it was simply fantastic, magical and unique. »

The event was also the opportunity for Mrs. Demuth from the company Variotherm (Leobersdorf, Austria) to handover a donation of 2500 euros to the family Curic. This donation, collected by the employees and management of Variotherm, will co-finance an intensive rehabilitation stay at the Adeli Center (Slovakia) for their 3-year-old boy, Jan.

We cannot express enough our gratitude to all attendees. Our special thanks go to the organizer Gerald and Susanne Molnar, all the volunteers and supporters who made the event such a success. We warmly thank the band members Rita, Gerald, Gerhard, Sigi, Adi, Rigo, and Kurt, as well as to Walter and Wolfgang for lights and sound.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our generous sponsors and volunteers who made this evening a success for the association. The company Ströck sponsored bread, the company Radatz contributed the majority of sausages and meat products, Nina spoiled us with a delicious vegan chili sin carne. The company Stiegel once again provided us with refreshing beer and Radler, while the company Rauch provided us with non-alcoholic beverages. Exquisite wines were generously provided by winemakers from Rust, Mörbisch am See, and St. Margarethen in Burgenland. Special thanks also go to the REWE Group, which sponsored generous gift baskets worth 1200 euros for the raffle.

Shortly after the concert, the event was featured in the local press. Find the articles below.
